What is MoHopedia?
A wiki is a collaboratively written, web-based repository for information. This site is a wiki for information related to Mount Holyoke College.
What do you mean, "collaboratively written"?
You can edit almost any page you see by clicking on the edit tab at the top of the page. Everyone is strongly encouraged to edit, for everyone knows something others don't, and this is the opportunity to share that information. Try to edit articles to which you can add something meaningful to, don't just edit for the sake of editing, and if you must practice editing, do so in the Sandbox. You are encouraged to be bold when editing, any mistake can be fixed, however, because of the relatively small user base so far, errors are not corrected as fast as they should be, thus, please be careful when editing, check for syntax errors and typos before you commit.
What is the Purpose of the Wiki?
MoHopedia is an ongoing project with the purpose of acting as a repository for all sorts of information about Mount Holyoke College. Since it is "collaboratively written," this project is ever growing and changing. As contributors, your purpose is to help as much as possible with the Wiki by submitting and editing articles.
How do I edit?
At the top of every article there is a tab labeled Edit, to make your desired changes to an article, simply click on that tab. You will then be taken to a page with a big text box in it. Make your changes here, summarize the edit and click on the Save Page button at the bottom. It is also highly recommended that you to preview your edits before submitting them.
